Position Summary

The Product Owner – Client 360 Platform will lead the design, delivery, and evolution of an institutional-grade data and reporting platform that provides a unified view of institutional and wealth clients across private markets. The platform will drive client reporting, digital experience, fundraising support, and investment insights — serving as a core differentiator in the firm’s growth strategy.

This individual will partner cross-functionally with Data Engineering, Investor Relations, Marketing, Client Operations, and Distribution to align business goals with scalable data solutions. The role blends strategic product ownership, hands-on data fluency, and commercial understanding of private markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the Client 360 product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business growth objectives.

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, release plans, and iterative delivery cycles using agile methodologies to ensure effective project management.

  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to define and unify client, investor, and account data domains across the enterprise.

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, emphasizing scalability, data quality, and performance.

  • Develop and validate datasets using SQL and Python to ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability.

  • Serve as the primary liaison among technical and commercial stakeholders, aligning business priorities with product delivery.

  • Design and evolve core data models related to clients, investors, fund vehicles, and relationships within the private markets context.

  • Oversee integration of Client 360 with CRM and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, DealCloud, eFront, and other digital tools).

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and a data-driven culture, positioning Client 360 as the firm’s trusted source of client intelligence.

  • Ensure product governance, documentation, and change management practices are embedded into delivery processes.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 7–12 years of experience leading data product ownership, product management, or data strategy within asset management, private markets, or financial services.

  • Deep understanding of data governance, master data management (MDM), entity resolution, and enterprise data modeling.

  • High proficiency in SQL with strong Python skills for prototyping and data validation.

  • Working knowledge of private markets, including LP/GP structures, fund vehicles, and client reporting workflows.

  • Experience in agile product management frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Demonstrated success connecting data initiatives to measurable business outcomes.

* This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus, total compensation may include eligibility for long-term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Several business factors influence our total rewards offerings, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography.
