Clerical Assistant - Etobicoke

Our client is a well-established energy company successfully operating since the early 2000's. They are in the process of exponentially growing their operation to match growing demand from new green housing initiative. As a result they are currently looking to fill two permanent openings for Clerical Assistants.
In this role, you will perform clerical functions in order to drive company success. The right person for this position will be data and numbers-oriented as they will be dealing with large volumes of reports and alpha-numeric data to be processed and entered. Working on site in a new, beautiful Etobicoke office space (TTC accessible) you will receive proper training to become the go-to in the office on invoices and reports.

What you will achieve in this role:

  • Processing large volumes of reports and invoices
  • Accurately enter alpha-numeric (letter and numbers) data received from growing field team into database
  • Modify data as needed based on changes requested from clients
  • Communicate with field team when required
  • Meet production requirements for assigned work
  • Proof own work to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Follow direction and work collaboratively with colleagues and managers
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • Strong commitment to quality and integrity.

What you must bring to this role:

  • 1-2 years of similar data entry/clerical support experience in a small office setting
  • Superior attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Experience with billing and invoicing preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ​Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in residential homes industry would be considered an asset
