Bacon Farmer Workman (BFW) seeks an engineering leader who can oversee the civil engineering discipline for the company for the region. This is an opportunity for an up-and-coming professional engineer with a background in large-scale commercial, municipal, or institutional land development and/or water-wastewater to position themselves as the statewide civil engineering leader for growth in a terrific, fast-growing company. The position will involve business development and strategy to position the civil engineering division of the company for continued strategic success in the region. The engineer will also be responsible for project management, quality control, mentoring, and high-level supervision of design and technical staff across several offices. This division of the company focuses on clients that require the highest level of professionalism and quality, and offers the opportunity for the right individual to build significant, large-scale projects that leave a standing legacy for the communities they serve. The right individual will have experience serving as a project manager for complex projects as well as some leadership or management experience and the desire to build upon strong relationships in the region.

Requirements:
  • BS in civil engineering or related engineering discipline
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Prior experience managing civil engineering design projects. Individual can have a background/familiarity in any of the following areas: land development, site development, water resources, water/wastewater, or stormwater.
