Civil Engineer

Our client is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer—either an Engineer in Training (EIT) or a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)—to support the design and development of civil infrastructure projects. This role is integral to delivering site designs, permitting, and construction support for a diverse range of projects including municipal improvements, educational and athletic facilities, corporate campuses, and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers and project managers in producing design, bidding, and construction documents.

• Draft topographic surveys and prepare corresponding documentation.

• Develop accurate cost estimates and specify project materials.

• Design stormwater management systems, including stormwater modeling.

• Prepare and submit permit applications for municipal, stormwater, and DSPS requirements.

• Ensure effective communication and coordination with both clients and internal project teams.

• Carry out other assigned engineering tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• 3 to 10 years of relevant civil engineering experience.

• Proficient in CAD design and drafting.

• Experience with stormwater modeling software including HydroCAD and WinSLAMM.

• Valid driver’s license with flexibility for in-state travel.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients and collaborate within teams.
