Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a Cleveland-area company whose work portfolio has grown substantially and is looking to add a Civil Engineer to its team.

What You'll Do
As Civil Engineer, you will support development and construction activities involving land planning, site layout, grading, stormwater, zoning, geotechnical considerations and load-docking planning. You'll work across departments and help move multi-million-dollar projects from development through construction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and support projects within the design/build construction industry
- Work on both the development and construction sides of projects
- Lead or support land planning and site layout
- Coordinate load-docking planning and site layout
- Address zoning, grading, stormwater and geotechnical requirements
- Review and interpret engineering and construction documents
- Work closely with Sales, Leasing and Ownership teams
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets and overall project requirements
- Identify potential issues early and develop practical solutions
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, consultants and project partners
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 5+ years of direct civil construction experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience managing or supporting multi-million-dollar projects
- Experience in commercial, industrial or design/build construction preferred
- Experience with land planning, site development and site layout
- Working knowledge of zoning, grading, stormwater and geotechnical requirements
- Proficiency in CAD, Revit and Microsoft Office
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and construction documents
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage schedules and budgets
