Job Description
Our client is a luxury 5* high-end Hotel located in Bangkok, Thailand. Hotel is part of a large worldwide chain.
Title of Position: Chinese Chef (Local Thai)
Package: 80,000 Baht
Benefits: The position offers a local package with all the usual benefits.
Main responsibilities:
- To supervise all kitchen staff in the proper cleaning, preparing and cooking of all Chinese food items, and ensure quality and consistency with hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
- Thai nationality
- Vocational Education graduated preferably from a reputed culinary institute
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar position preferably in Chinese Culinary
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to train subordinates
- Good communication and spoken English skills
- Knowledge of hotel’s house rules and internal regulations
- Ability to ensure the consistency of food standards set by Executive Chinese Chef
- Has Chinese Banquet experience
- Ability to assist the Executive Chinese Chef in new menu planning
- Ensuring compliance to house code of rules by staff
