Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO of a premier privately held temperature controlled logistics provider located in the Midwest.
Will have overall responsibility for guiding the organization through sustained profitable growth. Will have P&L responsibility for the organization. Key objectives include developing and driving the organization strategy to include growth opportunities, cost saving measures, accountability, customer interface and achieving operational excellence. Will manage to standard operating procedures and direct an aggressive operating plan. Interface with Senior Management with a focus on safety, process improvement through standardization and technology deployment, partnering with internal and external customers, and talent development is vital to meeting strategic goals. It will also have a critical link to customer satisfaction and will interact extensively with commercial personnel and related tactics and strategies. Will work in collaboration with the organization to strategically and tactically develop, align and implement strategies which ensures the value creation for customers, strong operating model, processes capabilities, accountability and systems will support short and long-term EBITDA improvement, delivery performance, asset effectiveness.

Background Required:
  • Strategic Executive Leadership assignment within Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain (5-7 years)
  • Transportation (i.e. TL, LTL)
  • P&L responsibility- financial management (planning, execution, review, cost objectives)
  • Progressive leadership- managing teams (train and develop people, succession planning)
  • Planning and forecasting in multi-client and business platforms
  • Safety, quality and customer service
  • Performance standards, advanced analytical and KPI metrics development
  • Define sales road map aligned with strategic plan
  • Strong customer interface skills (QBR’s, Organic Growth opportunities)
  • Supply Chain Technology WMS, TMS
  • Project Management
  • Computer literate: Microsoft (i.e. Excel, Word & Power Point)
  • Travel- Up to 35% - (local and regional-predominately day travel)
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Residence: Southern, WI – Close proximity to existing facilities (relocation assistance)
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Third Party Logistics
  • Temperature Controlled 3PL
  • Warehousing: Value Added Services (i.e. Pick & Pack, Case Pick, Blast Freezing, Re-Pack etc.)
  • Education: Master’s Degree
  • Sector Experience (food, CPG, beverage)
