Our client is a luxury hospitality group operating a select collection of high-end resorts, all located in secluded, tropical island destinations.
Please note that this position is available for Expats only.
Profile
• Degree in Hotel Management or related field
• 5* & leisure resort experience
• Island and remote location experience
• Previous experience at Corporate level, overseeing multiple properties is a must
• Experience managing multi-cultural teams
• Strong operational background
• Experience in a structured international hotel environment
• Deep understanding of 5-star luxury resort operations and clientele
• Project management skills
• Able to travel frequently
• Ability to work long hours when needed in a mentally demanding environment
• Must be able to blend in with the company culture and philosophy
• Good in owner relations
• Strong personality, fair but tough leader who generates respect
• Thorough knowledge of hotel's operating policies & standards
• Clear strategic thinking and planning
• Willingness to take ownership and be held accountable
• Flexible, adaptable, able to think creatively as plans evolve and events unfold
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong cultural sensitivity
• Strong influencing skills; persuasive, able to win support and engagement of others
• Excellent communicator and an agile thinker with a can do attitude
• Ability to plan and prioritize work in order to achieve deadlines
• Strong analytical and tactical skills
• Able to work efficiently under pressure
