Chief Operating Officer - Hospice Care

The COO will be central in spearheading operational efficiencies and strategic growth within the dynamic landscapes of Kansas and Oklahoma. Salary: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies in alignment with the company's broader objectives to drive growth in the Kansas and Oklahoma region.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all business processes are performed with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with senior management to devise strategies for optimal resource management and achievement of organizational goals.
  • Establish and nurture meaningful relationships with key stakeholders including partners, suppliers, and governmental bodies to support business operations.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to a dedicated team, aiming at maintaining high operational standards and achieving business goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments for the operations in the region and implement the necessary actions to mitigate risks.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and periodically assess strategic initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior operational leadership within the hospice industry.
  • Residency in or willingness to relocate to Tulsa, OK, or Wichita, KS.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing business functions such as HR, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Proven track record of leading operational excellence and managing effective change initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities coupled with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
  • Exemplary communication skills with a knack for building diplomatic and fruitful relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in leading complex projects and initiatives in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
