Chief Nursing Officer

North Central WI minutes from Green Bay and Eau Claire

Our client has been serving the Central Wisconsin community for many years. Their services are focused on mental health care, addiction and substance abuse treatment, developmental disabilities care and skilled nursing care, but we also offer adult protective services, aquatic physical therapy and several community-based programs to support the community.

Due to incredible growth and a 70 million dollar expansion of the campus which will be completed soon, they have created the position of Chief Nursing Officer to take their clinical operation to the next level.

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) will oversee all Psychiatric Nursing Operations in our Joint Commission Accredited facility serving all age demographics.

The CNO will report to the Chief Executive Officer and be a member of the organization's Executive Management Team. This position will work collaboratively with Executive Leaders, as well as Leaders and Clinicians from within the facility as well as outside community partners in the three counties they serve.

The CNO will lead nursing operations and quality improvement for the Inpatient Behavioral Health Services and Community Based Behavioral Health Services. Nurse Managers from both service lines will report directly to the CNO. This CNO will develop and spearhead Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives to ensure efficient, effective and safe patient services, as well as being the champion for adherence to psychiatric nursing evidence-based best practices. Related to this, the CNO will work to develop a culture of shared accountability, leadership, and compassionate patient care.
