Nealy Pierce has been engaged by a growing, non-profit 75+ bed Joint Commission accredited rural community hospital in the heart of the Allegheny Mountains to recruit a collaborative and inspirational Chief Nursing Officer to join its executive leadership team.
About the Role:
As the Chief Nursing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving nursing practice, leading your team, and ensuring the highest quality of patient care is consistently provided. The CNO will also foster a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and continuous improvement among the nursing team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the strategic direction and leadership to the nursing team
- Implement policies and procedures that promote quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards
- Foster a culture of patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care
- Collaborate across all levels to achieve hospital-wide goals and initiatives
- Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing staff to enhance their skills and professional growth
- Manage the budgetary and operational aspects of the nursing team
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required / Master’s strongly preferred
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive nursing leadership experience as a Director of Nursing, ACNO or CNO
- Minimum ten (10) years of total nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Must have a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team of nursing professionals
- We are offering a generous total compensation package including an annual base salary up to $195k (dependent on experience), relocation assistance / potential sign on bonus, and full benefits
