The CMO can be located anywhere in the Central, Southern or Eastern parts of the country. This is an excellent opportunity to join a committed and collaborative leadership team within an organization focused on clinical quality, innovation and continuous improvement, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care.

About the Organization:

Complete Health was founded in 2018, beginning with the acquisition of Ormond Medical Arts in Ormond Beach, Florida. In its first year, the organization expanded rapidly across Volusia County, followed by its entrance into Alabama in 2019 through the acquisition of Birmingham Internal Medicine Associates. Today, Complete Health delivers value-driven primary care across three states (Florida, Alabama and Colorado), staying true to its mission of helping patients live happier, healthier lives at home.

Complete Health is a physician-driven, patient-centered primary care organization designed for physicians who want to practice medicine with purpose, support, and a deeper connection to their patients. The value-based care model gives providers the opportunity to focus on prevention, chronic disease management, care coordination, and meaningful relationships with older adults – supported by multidisciplinary teams committed to helping patients achieve better health outcomes. At Complete Health, physicians are empowered to lead patient care, collaborate across care teams, and be part of a growing organization built around a better healthcare approach to aging.

Overview:

  • Complete Health, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, is the leading regional owner-operator of risk-bearing primary care practices across the Southeast
  • The company seamlessly shifts the reimbursement model for acquired practices from legacy fee-for-service into value-based care contracts for eligible Medicare Advantage (MA) and ACO REACH patients
  • Consistent success across all payer types (Medicare, MA HMO, MA PPO, and Commercial) and contracts (Full-Risk, Partial-Risk, and ACO REACH) in underpenetrated markets creates a competitive moat relative to peers
  • Exceptional medical and utilization management deployed against historically undermanaged markets and populations has led to consistent cohort-level MER improvement and industry leading profitability
