• Develop and execute robust security programs covering areas such as threat intelligence, data privacy, incident response, and cloud security
• Strengthen the bank’s defenses against financial crimes, cyberattacks, ransomware, and insider threats across all digital platforms
• Collaborate closely with IT, risk, compliance, legal, and operations to integrate security seamlessly into every layer of the organization

Requirements of this Chief Information Security Officer role:

• CISO experience in the banking industry a must
• Proven vison and leadership that supports global enterprise security initiatives
• Ability to oversee implementation of enterprise security systems with operational expertise
• Excellent written and verbal communication with team, board, and audit committee
• 10+ years’ management experience and a degree in an industry related field
• 5+ years’ hands-on security, audit and risk experience
• Live in or relocate to McAllen, TX (Relocation assistance available)
