Chief Information Officer

Our client, a leading Midwest construction company, is seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer to join their executive team.

Job Scope/Outline

In this pivotal role reporting to the CFO, you'll shape and implement our client's technology strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence. You'll lead their IT department, collaborating with C-level executives to leverage technology for business growth and process improvement in the construction industry.

Duties

• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business goals
• Lead selection and implementation of innovative technology solutions
• Ensure security, integrity, and availability of IT systems and data
• Manage IT department budget and resources
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to construction
• Develop and maintain key technology vendor relationships
• Ensure compliance with IT regulations and industry standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles
• Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, especially in construction
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic IT initiatives
• Experience in managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and complex projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
