- Financial Oversight and Strategy
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to align with the growth objectives.
- Manage P&L using QuickBooks, with a clear focus on understanding revenue streams and customer profitability.
- Provide insights into financial performance and identify areas for revenue optimization.
- Financing Operations
- Act as the primary liaison for inbound venture capital interest, fielding inquiries and establishing strong investor relationships.
- Support capital raising efforts, secondary transactions, and potential IPO planning.
- Develop and maintain financial relationships, including with VC firms, banks, and other strategic investors.
- Revenue Insights and Optimization
- Analyze and report on revenue across four revenue streams, providing actionable insights to the executive team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive initiatives that enhance profitability and customer lifetime value.
- Strategic Growth and Corporate Development (Preferred)
- Engage in strategic discussions and potential deal-making with banking and corporate partners.
- Utilize corporate development experience to identify growth opportunities and partnerships.
- Draw on background in venture capital or investment banking to support long-term business development goals.
- Team Management
- Supervise current outsourced accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Long term ability to scale and lead a finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in finance roles, with a preference for experience in telehealth or tech.
- Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks and financial reporting tools.
- Strong background in managing investor relationships and leading funding rounds.
- Experience with venture capital, corporate development, or investment banking is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of building and mentoring finance teams.
- Strategic and Analytical: Can provide data-driven insights and identify revenue optimization opportunities.
- Relationship Builder: Able to nurture strong investor relationships and communicate effectively with financial partners.
