Johnson Regional Medical Center, a non-profit hospital located in Clarksville, AR, has an outstanding opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer. Morgan Hunter HealthSearch has been retained to conduct this key search.

The Chief Financial Officer, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, has responsibility for the housekeeping, maintenance, biomed, business office, accounting, registration and purchasing departments. Direct reports include department heads, a Controller, Staff Accountant and a Bookkeeper. Total staff complement is between 80 and 100. The position is also a key member of the executive team along with the CEO, CNO and Vice President of Information Technology. The executive team works collaboratively to oversee all aspects of the hospital.

Candidate qualifications include at least five years leadership experience as a CFO or Controller. Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, be an advocate of teamwork, still be able to work in the numbers when needed, and have the ability to coach and mentor managers and employees. A Bachelor’s Degree is required while a Master’s and CPA is preferred.

Johnson Regional Medical Center has been serving the population of Johnson, Logan, Franklin and Pope Counties since 1922 (35,000 – 40,000 in the service area). The initial vision and commitment of local physicians to care for sick patients that started in a meager boarding house has now become a first-class healthcare facility licensed for 90 beds. JRMC provides a wide variety of health services, including mental health (IP & OP), orthopedics, and the only accredited sleep center between Fort Smith and Little Rock. The medical staff totals 40 full-time with an additional 27 visiting specialists.
