A growing and progressive critical access hospital with projected net patient revenues of approximately $50M this year has an exciting opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The hospital has five clinics and offers a wide variety of services, including robotic surgery. Their full-time medical staff consists of 25 providers, as well as a number of visiting specialists. The hospital has seen double digit growth for each of the last three years.

The CFO, reporting to the CEO, will oversee all financial management for the organization, including the revenue cycle, central supply, and accounting departments. The position is a blend of strategic and hands-on as needed.

The appropriate candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (master's is preferred), at least five years accounting and finance experience within a critical access hospital setting. Must have excellent communication skills and a leadership style that is characterized by the ability to work positively with all levels throughout the organization. Prior CFO experience is preferred, but a highly experienced Controller or similar ready to take the step to CFO would be considered.

The community of 2,700 is located near two larger communities with a wide variety of amenities (10 miles from a community of 15,000 and 70 miles from one of 40,000).
