The Opportunity

The incoming CEO will partner closely with the founders and investors to define and execute the company’s long-term growth strategy. This executive will have broad authority to shape the organization, build the leadership team, expand into new verticals, drive strategic partnerships, and professionalize operations while maintaining the entrepreneurial agility that has fueled the company’s success to date.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and highly hands-on — a player/coach capable of rolling up their sleeves while leading the company through a period of rapid scaling and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s go-to-market strategy and long-term business plan
  • Scale the organization from ~$20M in revenue to $100M+ over the next 2–3 years
  • Lead expansion into new verticals including commercial and healthcare-related markets
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing leadership team and organizational structure
  • Recruit top talent across operations, sales, partnerships, and business functions
  • Drive strategic partnerships, enterprise relationships, and large-scale business development initiatives
  • Evaluate and optimize operational processes, workflows, and organizational efficiency
  • Identify new market opportunities, growth channels, and competitive positioning strategies
  • Partner closely with founders and investors while serving as the day-to-day leader of the company
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, initiative, and continuous improvement
  • Lead with strong communication, executive presence, and operational rigor
  • Help shape and launch new products and service offerings
  • Ensure scalable infrastructure, systems, and processes are in place to support hypergrowth

The successful candidate will be an accomplished growth-oriented executive with experience scaling businesses through periods of rapid expansion.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience scaling a company or business unit from approximately $20M to $100M+ in revenue or comparable high-growth trajectory
  • Strong business development and partnership experience with a demonstrated ability to close large strategic deals
  • Prior leadership experience with P&L responsibility
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining highly hands-on and execution-oriented
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Strong analytical and operational capabilities
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and motivate top talent
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward action and accountability
  • Comfortable operating in a founder-led, evolving growth environment
  • NYC-based or willing to relocate to New York City

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within financial services, fintech, receivables management, collections, specialty finance, or related sectors
  • Exposure to commercial collections, healthcare receivables, or enterprise financial workflows
  • Legal industry familiarity or experience working closely with legal/compliance-driven organizations
  • Experience launching new verticals, products, or revenue channels
  • Background in operational scaling, sales leadership, or growth transformation initiatives
  • Experience building scalable processes, systems, and organizational infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of technology-enabled financial services platforms
