Mercy and Truth Healthcare Ministry (MTHM) is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that operates two primary care safety-net health clinics in the Kansas City area, as well as an international division that sends medical teams each year to Mexico, South America, and Africa. Our clinics are Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) lookalike, serving primarily minority uninsured, underserved, and marginalized populations. MTHM also provides health screening examinations required for refugees that are being re-settled in the State of Kansas each year.

Our mission is to provide life-changing care to those in need through compassionate Christian service. We consider it our privilege to care for all people with dignity and respect, regardless of any health factors, cultural challenges, or socio-economic barriers that may hinder them from seeking and receiving the high-quality, compassionate care they deserve.

As a medical home, we provide more than transactional medical care, and instead seek to establish an ongoing relationship with our patients to better serve their needs, needs that often have a bearing on their physical and mental wellbeing. Such efforts involve significant community outreach using our Community Healthcare Workers, who help with clinic visit follow-up, prescriptions, and navigating other issues of need.

In addition to our clinical work, we work with partners to hold various community outreach events such as hosting a mobile food pantry each month, conducting flu, covid and shingles vaccine clinics, dental clinics, and screening events for heart disease, diabetes, and kidney disease.
