Chemistry Lab Instrumentation Specialist
Providence, Rhode Island
APN Staffing is now hiring for a Chemistry Lab Instrumentation Specialist contractor in Providence. This is a temporary position for six months, after start date. Hours are (8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Friday) on-location, with an hourly rate of pay of $29.35 an hour.
General Job Responsibilities:
Complete pending laboratory enhancements which include new instrument validations, laboratory methodology transfers, and assisting the supervisor in the development of new standard operating procedures
Operate and provide lab support to the program while providing technical expertise in support of programmatic expansion
Develop, transfer, and provide optimization of laboratory methodologies geared towards quantitative and qualitative identification of different drugs of abuse in various biological matrices as well as the development of all associated reporting functionalities
Requirements:
Must possess an advanced degree in Chemistry and have extensive experience with triple quad and Q-TOF technologies
Waters platform and candidates with a demonstrated knowledge of ISO accreditation standards are highly desired
