• Ability to read and follow specific route card instructions to ensure proper end product results • Ability to use safety equipment as dictated by the work area (i.e. safety goggles, dust mask, hard hat, respirator, face shield, hearing protection, gloves, and aprons) • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts • Ability to regularly stand, walk, stoop, bend • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written channels • Able to perform manual dexterity tasks • Occasional turning, twisting, stooping, bending, and reaching • No exposed jewelry in body piercings when in a GMP production area • Ability to wear a respirator for up to 4 hours a day. Please refer to SOP for facial hair guidelines • Due to chemical safety concerns, the wearing of contact lenses is prohibited • Design, build and operate experimental setups consistent with safe work practices • discipline in following procedures and recording measurements • Strong mechanical aptitude.
• High School Diploma or GED • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment required, previous experience handling chemicals is preferred. 2 year technical degree preferred with computer training in logic control systems • Ability to read and interpret documents written in English such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals, warehouse work orders and inventories. Ability to write legible notes and correspondence in English. Ability to speak and communicate well with coworkers and superiors in English. • Spanish would be a plus.
