Private Chef – UHNW Traveling Household – Dubai

Marcilly Recruitment's UHNW client is seeking an exceptional Private Chef to join their distinguished private household in Dubai and travel internationally with the family.

This is a rare opportunity for a highly skilled, European-trained Private Chef with a background in UHNW private households and superyacht environments, who thrives in a fast-moving, travel-intensive role and can deliver outstanding cuisine consistently across multiple settings — both on and off superyachts.

• Location: Dubai, UAE (with extensive international travel)
• Salary: AED 25,000–40,000 per month (DOE)
• Benefits: Separate flat provided in a prime Dubai location, UAE visa, medical insurance, daily food allowance
• Start date: Flexible — trial may take place during a travel period
• Days off: One day per week, hours worked on a rota basis alongside two other senior chefs (breakfast & lunch or lunch & dinner)

The Private Chef will be responsible for preparing fresh, healthy, high-quality daily meals for a private UHNW family, working as part of an established and highly professional kitchen team. The family are health-conscious and live quietly — there is no formal entertaining, no events, and no late-night service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing fresh, healthy and high-quality meals daily for a small private family
• Designing and adapting menus in line with the family's health-conscious, European-style preferences
• Sourcing premium, seasonal and organic ingredients across different locations and environments
• Managing kitchen operations including provisioning, stock control and cleanliness across the Dubai residence and all travel environments
• Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety at all times, both on and off the yacht
• Travelling regularly with the family, including extended periods aboard superyachts and internationally
• Adapting seamlessly to last-minute changes in schedule, location and dining requirements Working collaboratively and professionally alongside an existing senior kitchen team

Requirements:

• European trained — this is essential and non-negotiable
• Proven experience as a Private Chef within UHNW private households, with significant superyacht experience (80m+) highly desirable
• Experience working both on and off superyachts in a private household capacity
• Michelin-starred restaurant background or training a significant advantage
• Valid STCW and ENG1 certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to joining)
• Strong culinary background with a specialism in healthy, European-style cuisine
• Demonstrable career stability — candidates with a pattern of short tenures will not be considered
• Fully comfortable with a predominantly travelling lifestyle; this role requires regular travel and significant time away from Dubai
• Calm, adaptable and able to maintain consistency across varied environments Discreet, professional and team-oriented
• Excellent organisation and time management skills

This is a quiet, private household with no formal entertaining. Standards are exceptionally high and the family value consistency, discretion and professionalism above all else.
