Chef Manager
We are seeking a Chef Manager to elevate our client's dining and service standards. Under the supervision of the General Manager, this role demands a proactive management style, focusing on team training, culinary finesse, adherence to safety standards, and strengthening client relationships. The Chef Manager will be crucial in achieving budget targets and implementing company-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, overseeing all culinary operations.
- Calculate food requirements and manage food orders and purchases.
- Create and refine recipes, standardizing them to maintain uniform quality.
- Set standards for dish presentation, design menus, and structure pricing.
- Maintain kitchen equipment, uphold safety regulations, and ensure kitchen cleanliness.
- Manage special catering events and potentially provide culinary education and demonstrations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role required.
- 2-3 years of post-high school education or comparable experience necessary.
- Culinary degree is advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of food industry standards and practices.
- Proven management experience and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
To qualify for this position, you must have:
- Experience in K-12 food service.
- Culinary or Associate's Degree.
- Experience overseeing multiple locations.
