Our client is a 5* boutique resort with less than 100 units and multiple F&B outlets on an idyllic beach on a tropical island in Philippines.

The Resort is still in pre-opening phase, opening is scheduled for Q1 2027.

Note that this resort is located in a magnificent, but remote location.

This role will be reporting directly to Executive Chef and Thai Brand Chef.

Please note that this position is available for Thai Nationals only.

Profile

• Experience in 5-star hotels and/or premium free-standing restaurants
• Culinary school background
• Experience in similar position
• Able to deliver an authentic Thai cuisine
• International exposure
• Strong expertise in authentic Thai cuisine, including traditional cooking techniques and regional specialties
• Passionate about delivering dining experiences
• Ability to lead and manage high volume kitchen operations while maintaining food quality and consistency
• Strong passion for cooking with excellent attention to presentation and guest satisfaction
• Hands on leader with solid knowledge of all kitchen operations and equipment
• Comprehensive understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, HACCP, and safety standards
• Creative and innovative approach to menu development and product presentation
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop kitchen teams
• Strong coordination and communication skills with Food & Beverage service teams
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Well organized, flexible, and able to work independently under pressure
• Energetic, proactive, and results oriented personality
• Strong eye for detail, quality, and operational excellence
• Computer literate
