McCall and Lee has been engaged by a community based Hospital in West Virginia to recruit a Full-Time Registered Staff Nurse to join their team. We are seeking a well skilled, highly productive team player to work with their program. New grads are encouraged to apply along with others who are interested in providing Top Notch treatment to patients.

    • The Registered Nurse - Charge plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standards of care. He/she demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing systems; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.
    • Provides direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Performs general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
      • Formal Education and Certifications
        • Current professional licensure in the State of West Virginia, or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
        • CPR (if CPR is not current on hire or will expire during department orientation, staff must attend the next available CPR class after hire)
        • ACLS (if ACLS is not current on hire or will expire during department orientation, staff must attend the next available ACLS class after hire)
      • Knowledge and Experience
        • Basic computer skills
        • Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients’ rights in the delivery of care
        • Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served, or obtained within probationary period
      • Formal Education and Certifications
        • EKG
        • ACLS
        • Crisis Intervention Class
        • IV/Central Line
        • Face-to-Face RN Training for Restraints
      • Knowledge and Experience
        • One year previous clinical experience as RN in acute care facility
