Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations.
- Hands items as needed to the surgical team, promoting an efficient surgical environment.
- Prepares and moves patients, ensuring comfort and safety before and after surgical procedures.
- Cleans and prepares the operating rooms between surgeries to maintain sterile conditions.
- Responsible for carrying out specific medical orders as directed by the supervising Registered Nurse.
- Participates in learning and adapting to new procedures across all specialties to broaden professional expertise.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification.
- Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by NCCT.
- Minimum one full year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Advanced certification for specialized surgical fields such as cardiac surgery.
- Proven ability to handle multiple surgical procedures with excellence.
- Exhibit flexibility in scheduling, including availability for day shifts, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
