Certified Surgical Technician – Full-Time
Pay: $26.54–$39.82 per hour
Schedule: 32–40 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Position Overview
A respected community healthcare organization is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join its collaborative Surgical Services team. This position plays an essential role in maintaining a sterile, safe, and efficient operating-room environment while supporting surgeons, circulating nurses, and other clinical professionals throughout surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
- Establish and maintain the sterile field using proper aseptic technique
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other members of the operating-room team
- Pass instruments and supplies accurately and efficiently during procedures
- Perform approved second-assist responsibilities as appropriate
- Help implement and revise patient care plans in collaboration with surgeons and nursing staff
- Support sterile processing and central-supply functions
- Follow established environmental safety, sanitation, and disinfection procedures
- Complete instrument, sponge, and supply counts according to facility policy
- Promote patient safety throughout the perioperative process
- Demonstrate excellent communication, customer-service, and interpersonal skills
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Surgical Technology
- Graduate of an approved Surgical Technician program
- Current national Surgical Technologist certification
- Current Basic Life Support certification, or ability to obtain the required CPR/BLS certification within six months of hire
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and operating-room safety
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical environment
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent patient care
Schedule
- Flexible full-time schedule of 32–40 hours per week
- Primarily Monday through Friday
- Rotating on-call coverage approximately every sixth weekend
Compensation
The anticipated pay range is $26.54–$39.82 per hour. The final offer will be based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, credentials, and other job-related considerations.
