Focus:
- Accurately prepare, label, and package prescription medications under licensed pharmacist supervision, following strict regulatory and safety standards.
- Assist with preparation of IV medications and specialized pharmaceutical products using sterile techniques.
- Enter and manage prescription and billing data in pharmacy information systems to ensure timely reimbursement and order fulfillment.
- Maintain inventory control by receiving shipments, rotating stock, and monitoring medication expiration dates.
- Support pharmacy quality assurance efforts by assisting in the final verification process and preparing medications for timely delivery.
- Ensure all workspaces, cleanrooms, and equipment are maintained to meet safety, cleanliness, and calibration standards.
- Work closely with leadership to meet operational goals and deliver superior service to patients and partner facilities.
Skill Set:
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the State of Indiana.
- Experience in a hospital, retail, or specialty pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Strong commitment to quality, compliance, and patient safety.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
