We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cath Lab Nursing Manager to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This critical role is responsible for the comprehensive management of the catheterization lab and ensures high standards of patient care and safety. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and clinical expertise within a dynamic healthcare setting.
Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the catheterization lab, ensuring compliance with all national, state, and hospital regulations.
- Manage and mentor a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages high performance and job satisfaction.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Cath Lab.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, evaluate, and optimize patient care plans.
- Ensure that the Cath Lab is equipped with the necessary tools and supplies to function at maximum efficiency.
- Maintain continuous education and professional development to stay current with the latest trends and technologies in cardiac care.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN required.
- Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience in a highly acute care environment.
- One (1) to two (2) years of progressive management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
- Current ACLS, NRP, and BCLS Certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to provide appropriate care to patients of all ages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MSN or other advanced nursing or healthcare-related degree preferred.
- Prior experience in a Cath Lab or cardiology department is highly desirable.
- Experience with budget management, staff training, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence others.
