Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Operations Manager of a premier, non-asset logistics provider founded on the core ideals of providing an exceptional customer experience and effectively managing freight demands, regardless of magnitude.
The Carrier Sales Representative will be responsible for ensuring carrier coverage and successful pick up of freight. Will develop, establish, and maintain relationships with carriers across the US to support true partnerships with trusted carriers. Will identify, source, and procure new carrier relationships. Will manage carrier network to ensure proper levels of service. Will establish internal relationships to expand book of business. This critical role will drive the overall success of the operations team and allow you to strengthen your skills within the transportation industry. Challenge is to successfully grow new and existing customer accounts by providing required carrier capacity and superior service and ensuring best practices are being utilized by all team members, while increasing revenues and maximizing profitability.

Background Required:
- Carrier Sales in non-asset transportation environment (2+ years)
- Modes of transportation (TL, Dry, Refrigerated, Open deck)
- Strong Negotiation Ability
- Create a carrier following utilizing historical data and carrier management techniques.
- Carrier Procurement KPI’s (i.e. load count, revenue, margin, load count, call logs)
- Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
- Residence: Omaha, NE
- McLeod, DAT, MacroPoint
- Education: College Graduate - BA or BS
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- High energy with a sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask
- Collaborative
