Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer of a premier liquid logistics brokerage with a mission to innovate their customers supply chain through a fully customizable suite of services.
The Carrier Sales Representative is responsible for the solicitation, brokering, and management of all freight for customers/carriers within the bulk tank transportation industry. Will maintain the proper documentation pertaining to all loads moved and negotiate customer and carrier freight rates. Will resolve any operational issues. Will call and work with existing customers to obtain loads and or carriers for truck capacity. Will work with leadership and sales to generate new customer leads, follow up with both carriers and customers on assigned loads, maintaining productive working relationships with customer and carrier representatives. The challenge is to increase revenues and maximize profitability.

Background Required:
- Carrier Sales and Capacity Development in Freight Brokerage environment
- Bulk Tank logistics experience
- Strong Negotiation Ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity)
- Create a carrier following utilizing historical data and carrier management techniques
- Negotiations (Carrier, Customer)
- KPI utilization & management
- Metrics measurements (i.e. pricing, delivery, costs, quality, audits)
- Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
- Residence: Chicago, IL
- Carrier Procurement KPI’s (i.e., load count, revenue, margin, call logs)
- Education: College Graduate - BA or BS
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- High energy with a sense of urgency
- Leadership
- Ability to multitask.
