Carrier Sales Representative


Salary Range:$40,000.00 - $55,000.00

Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Carrier Sales Manager of a non-asset logistics company who has more than 200 years combined experience providing transportation solutions nationwide and is currently at $25 MM in revenue. They are highly experienced with TL freight, more specifically Reefer and Dry Van.
Carrier Sales Representative is responsible for providing customers with the most efficient mode of transportation for their products, on time and intact. This highly motivated individual will grow new and existing business and have a proven ability to maximize relationships with carriers and account managers /customers utilizing personal contacts, networking and strong price negotiations to grow sustainable profitable business relationships. Responsible for carrier development. Challenge is to increase revenues and improving profitability.

Background Required:
  • Carrier Sales Freight Brokerage (2+ years)
  • Strong carrier following
  • Modes of Transportation (i.e. Temp-controlled, Reefer, Dry Van)
  • Experience in food commodities
  • Strong Negotiation Ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity)
  • Develop and manage KPI’s (i.e. # loads booked, on-time performance)
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Residence: Gainesville, GA
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Transportation Management Systems
  • Education: College degree preferred
