Career Services Manager

Seeking an experienced professional with 2-5+ years staffing and recruitment experience for a growing educational institution on Oahu. The Career Services Manager is responsible for working with graduating students pursuing health care vocational pursuits and helping them to be placed in their careers. The CSD is responsible for meeting with the students, assists with resume preparation and putting together a professional portfolio, coaching the students, interviewing skills and helping them to enter their career upon successful graduation from their medical educational program. This position is responsible for the externship support, setting up orientations, promoting a variety of employment related workshops to prepare the students to launch their careers and maintain and develop relationships with companies in the local community where the students can seek gainful employment. Candidate should possess excellent verbal and writing skills to assist with resume preparation and in communicating with staff and company externship relationships. The position does require a vehicle for site visits and does entail some evening and scheduled Saturday workshops with a normal in the office working schedule Monday-Friday. Position includes a solid base salary plus bonuses tied to successful graduate placement, full medical and dental benefits, matching 401K and paid parking.
