Salary: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during invasive procedures such as cardiac caths, vascular angiograms, and stenting.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, update medical records and administer medications as prescribed during procedures.
- Maintain and manage IV access and oxygen administration as ordered by the physician.
- Ensure adherence to sterile techniques and safety standards throughout the procedures.
- Provide detailed post-procedure and discharge instructions to patients or caregivers.
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to support diagnostic goals (specific credentials required).
- Engage in the development and revision of action plans for completing procedures efficiently and safely.
- Operate within a team setup, effectively communicating and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program in radiology technology, demonstrating strong knowledge in anatomy and physiology.
- Must hold a current radiographer license from the State of Ohio Department of Health.
- Current registry with A.R.R.T. as an R.T. is a must.
- Possession of a current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification.
- Willingness to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Registry from A.R.R.T. in Cardiovascular (CV), Cardiac Intervention (CI), or Vascular Intervention (VI).
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
- Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or cardiovascular interventional setting.
- Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide education to patients and their families.

- Proficiency in utilizing radiographic and imaging equipment.
