Cardiac Imaging - Tampa, FL

StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a Heart Institute/Hospital and local practice located in Tampa, Fl to assist them with the recruitment of a Cardiac Imaging Cardiologist to join their team. This position is to become the Medical Director of Cardiac Imaging at your facility with the potential to expand.

Practice Highlights / Qualifications:

• Must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease
• There is only 1 other Cardiac Imaging Cardiologist working in this network of 16 hospitals
• You will work out of 1 hospital with the opportunity to help cover imaging for the entire network
• Hospital has Cardiac MRI and 128-slice Cardiac CT
• You will be joining a group of 4 General Cardiologists, 1 Interventional Cardiologist, and 3 EPs
  • Currently recruiting another General Cardiologist, Cardiac Imager, and another Interventional Cardiologist

The facility you will cover is a 288-bed hospital that offers a full range of services. It is a dedicated Heart Center and is a Comprehensive Stroke Center. This facility was one of the first hospitals in the area to achieve Atrial Fibrillation Certification and was the first nationally recognized Comprehensive Stroke Center in its County. In addition, it was nationally recognized for quality and safety by earning an “A” rating from the Leapfrog Group.
