We are helping them to identify a successful Capital Projects Engineer/Project Engineer to ensure the successful execution of key engineering projects while maintaining safety and operational standards. The successful candidate will lead a small team, manage capital projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the company's quality and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee plant engineering projects and ensure completion on time and within budget.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean processes for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage capital expenditures, maintenance, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with senior management and external partners for engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Preferred experience in food/beverage, especially dairy/cheese.
• Expertise in capital projects, mechanical/electrical systems, and process improvement.

Skills:

• Leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in CAD, PLCs, automation, Lean Manufacturing, and CMMS.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
