Job Description

Flybridge Staffing is currently searching for a Cancelation Specialist for a Fintech client in the Boca Raton area. This is a full time/direct hire position with 2 days remote flexibly after 4-6 months. We are considering Entry Level experience and those with industry experience.

Responsibilities:

The Cancelation specialist is responsible for providing timely and accurate completion of cancelation requests and compliance violations. Performing outreach on outstanding paperwork and equipment, and coordinate with internal teams on equipment and pricing corrections. Determining collection/recovery actions on accounts with outstanding balances.

  • Review cancellation requests for accuracy and determining appropriate resolutions
  • Verify proper paperwork is received
  • Accurately key account closures
  • Utilize multiple applications
  • Record details of closure requests, updates performed, and resolutions
  • Identify outstanding equipment and apply billing
  • Communicate effectively via email and phone
  • Interact with clients to address concerns and resolve issues
  • Take ownership of requests and work them to completion
  • Act as a liaison between departments and clients on issues
  • Multitask and manage client expectations
  • Properly escalate concerns that may require management intervention.
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
  • Maintain composure in stressful situations and project a professional image.

Experience and Skill Set:

  • Reliable, Independent, Self-Starter
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional approach to deadlines
  • Works well independently and in a team
  • Desire to learn with drive, ambition, and motivation for success
  • Spanish speaking bilingual candidates are a PLUS!
  • Previous experience in the Merchant Service Industry preferred, but not required.
