They are seeking a Cabinet Maker to join their dynamic team!
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, drawings and blueprints for custom cabinetry and millwork projects
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools to cut, shape and form cabinet and millwork components
- Measure, cut and fabricate components according to project specifications
- Sand wood surfaces and cabinets to prepare them for staining and finishing
- Prepare and assemble cabinets and custom millwork for installation
- Fit and install high-end custom cabinets and millwork
- Ensure finished products meet quality and project specifications
- Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality and proper fit
- Follow established production procedures and project timelines
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Follow all company health and safety policies and regulations
- Work collaboratively with other cabinet makers, assemblers and installers
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while contributing to a strong team environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in custom millwork manufacturing
- Experience specializing in high-end custom cabinetry and specialty millwork fabrication
- Strong skills in woodworking, machining, finishing and installation
- Ability to operate woodworking machinery and various hand tools safely and effectively
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and specifications
- Strong measuring and mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work efficiently while meeting production deadlines
- Secondary school education preferred
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills
