Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a CABIN STRESS ENGINEER in MOBILE AL Our client is an aerospace / aeronautical company. The CABIN STRESS ENGINEER responsible for analyzing the internal equipment of an aircraft cabin for structural strength and safety.
Responsibilities of a CABIN STRESS ENGINEER includes:
- You oversee new developments, installation space analyses, preliminary designs and feasibility studies.
- You are responsible for the creation, design, modification and control of mechanical systems.
- You are responsible for researching, analyzing, creating and checking design documents (incl. the BOM - Bill of Materials)
- You are also responsible for the creation of documents relevant for approval as well as guidelines, work instructions and presentations.
- You are the technical contact person for our customers
- You are responsible for the creation of documents for internal process optimization and the creation, control and internal release of construction documents.
- You are enthusiastic about mechanical construction in the cabin areas of PSU, placards, floor covering (Mylar, NTF, carpet, seat track covering), lining (side trim, foot trim) and emergency equipment.
Job Requirements of a CABIN STRESS ENGINEER:
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Experience in 3D CAD systems (CATIA V5, EHI)
- Knowledge in the field of cabin interior
- 3D construction experience and basic knowledge of aviation law
- Business fluent in German and English
- Experience in aircraft cabin with focus on ATA25
- Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, commitment and flexibility
- Independent and customer-oriented way of working
REQUIRED Experience and Education:
- Completed engineering studies and relevant experience in the field of mechanics and aircraft construction
