Day, Evening & Night Shifts Available
Hiring in Allentown, Hazleton, Gilbertsville and Bethlehem, PA
SIGNING BONUS:
$18,000 for Full Time Evening & Over Night Shifts
$12,000 for Full Time Day Shifts
Job Summary:
Operates CT Scanner equipment, computer, and image management systems utilized in performing CT studies and exams. Collaborates with the radiologist and fellow staff members regarding patient imaging. Complies with safe practices at all times.
- Performs CT scans of designated anatomy using professional judgment while imaging with regard to technical quality according to physician specifications.
- Provides courteous and professional delivery of CT technical exams and procedures while adhering to radiation safety precautions.
- Supports patient questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality regarding PHI and HIPPA related information.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:
- Ability to deal effectively and ethically with medical and confidential information relating to patients, families, physicians and nursing personnel.
- Knowledge and skills to perform scans on patients of all ages, adapting to various protocols.
- Proficient use of advanced software for CT scanning and post procedure processing applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and upbeat demeanor.
Certifications - Required:
- Health Services\BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire and
- ARRT Certification in Good Standing Upon Hire
- ARRT Certification CT Certification Completed within 1 Year
Education - Required:
- High School Diploma / GED and
- Technical School Diploma Graduate of accredited Radiography program (Prefer Assoc. Degree Health Science program) or CNMT, RT(CT) Certified
