Salary: $26.89 - $38.99 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct a range of CT procedures to produce diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols.
- Offer procedural-related care and education to patients, enhancing their comfort and understanding of the process.
- Execute routine and emergency CT scans, utilizing the imaging equipment and contrast agents effectively.
- Prepare the exam room and assist patients with necessary preparations for imaging procedures.
- Maintain both manual and computerized patient, departmental, and hospital records efficiently.
- Oversee quality control procedures, equipment preventive maintenance, and recognizing/reporting malfunctions.
- Provide backup coverage for general radiology procedures and participate in on-call rotations outside regular work hours.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- ARRT certification and registration with an advanced CT credential preferred.
- Current Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License is required.
- Achieve BLS certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Demonstrable experience in conducting CT scans and handling radiologic equipment.
- Commitment to adhere to the professional standards and ethics of the radiologic sciences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a community hospital setting.
- Advanced knowledge in managing CT scanning procedures and patient care.
- Proven ability to perform multiple radiologic technology specialties.
