CT Technologist - Radiology/Cat Scan
Join our dedicated medical team as a full-time CT Technologist in Radiology and Cat Scan, providing top-tier diagnostic care in a dynamic hospital environment. This position is based in Philadelphia, PA, where you'll apply specialized knowledge and advanced imaging skills to assist in patient diagnostics and care, particularly in emergency and routine clinical situations. We offer a supportive work environment where professional growth is encouraged. As a part of our team, you'll work evenings and have rotating weekends and holiday shifts with on-call duties.
Salary: $63,741 to $79,672 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform complex CT procedures accurately to contribute to patient diagnostic needs.
- Maintain operational efficiency in the CT suite ensuring timely service and quality patient care.
- Follow and uphold all regulatory requirements including those from Joint Commission and all applicable state statutes.
- Ensure all imaging interventions are carried out in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the radiology and medical team to optimize the use of imaging technologies.
- Identify and address any complications or emergencies that may occur during procedures.
- Commit to maintaining patient safety and confidentiality standards in all work processes.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Post High School Diploma Program or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (R)(CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Proven experience and proficiency with CT scanning equipment and procedures.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on an on-call basis.
- Familiarity with healthcare safety, legal, and compliance regulations.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Advanced certifications or specialized training in diagnostic imaging or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to handle and resolve complex clinical situations.
- Knowledge of recent technological and methodological developments in CT imaging.
- Leadership skills or previous experience in a supervisory role within a radiology department are highly valued.
