Job Description
Join the team as a Customer Service Representative with warehouse/shipping experience, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining excellent customer relationships and ensuring smooth logistical operations.
This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers via phone, email, or in person to receive orders or changes in service.
- Address complaints regarding billing or service and escalate service failures to the appropriate departments for investigation.
- Process and input customer orders and receipts.
- Generate related paperwork and required information for customer work orders; verify special requests and post inventory records.
- Coordinate special or last-minute shipping requests with freight companies and expedite orders as necessary.
- Trace orders and notify customers of activity related to their merchandise, including shipping and tracking updates.
- Verify invoices to assure proper account invoicing.
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers by efficiently addressing inquiries and complaints regarding receipts, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, and more.
- Report customer feedback to management, including signs of dissatisfaction.
- Serve as a liaison between the warehouse and customers, as well as between office staff and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes.
- Maintain customer files and ensure accurate records of orders and processing requirements for each account.
- Notify management of requested changes from customers related to shipping, handling, or administrative matters.
- Perform general clerical tasks such as answering phone calls, operating office machines, and corresponding with customers.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of related experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from managers, customers, and co-workers.
