CRNA Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Southeastern Missouri (Minutes from St. Louis and a short distance from Memphis!)

Our client is a decorated not for profit health system serving a five state region.

Their flagship hospital has over 300 licensed beds and has won multiple awards for clinical and customer service.

They have an immediate opening for a CRNA or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Typical hours for this position: Full-Time Position, Mon - Fri, day shift with call rotation, hours will vary with surgery schedule, call rotation once a month and weekday call rotation once a week on average.

Responsible for the administration of anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in

  • Pre-Anesthetic preparation and evaluation
  • Anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence
  • Post Anesthesia Care
  • Peri Anesthetic and clinical support functions. Works collaboratively under the anesthesiologist and the overall direction of the OR Manager, Director of Surgical Services and Vice President of Patient Care Services.

Maintains the standards of anesthesia care and implements the related policies and procedures of the medical center and the Surgery department.Is able to organize and set priorities when performing anesthesia duties and responsibilities.

Position Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma: Master's Degree
  • Program of Study: CRNA
  • Required/Preferred: Required

Additional Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetist.

Certification/License Title:

  • Current license as a CRNA in the State of Missouri or eligible required.

State: Missouri

Additional Certification/Licensure Requirements:

  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Years of Experience: 1-2 minimum
