CNC Technician
Job Description
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Machine Operator to join its team. This role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a desire to grow in the precision machining industry. Full training and engineering support will be provided. The role requires maintaining production standards, quality control, and safety, while working in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:

Operate machine tools with engineering support to produce parts to customer specifications

Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision tools to ensure parts meet quality standards

Document production records, quality checks, and scrap accurately

Change cutting tools as needed and follow proper machine maintenance protocols

Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles
-
Transport materials throughout the facility using pallet jacks or tow motors
-
Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift with minimal breaks

Lift up to 50 lbs independently

Support other general shop functions as assigned

Report directly to the Shop Supervisor
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Trade school or training certification in precision machining preferred

Basic math skills

Ability to use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and basic hand tools

Comfortable with computers and basic data entry

Team-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

This is a Level 1 position with a minimum one-year term at this level

90-day probationary period
