CNC Programming Engineer
Job Description

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Develop programs, drawings, and workbooks using 3D CAD/CAM software.
- Manage CNC work orders, materials, and fixtures.
- Edit CNC programs as needed and perform first-piece setup on CNC machines.
- Troubleshoot CNC programming and tooling issues.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams for new job approvals.
- Assist CNC employees with job operations and inspections.
- Support tool crib setups and general shop functions as needed.
- Stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Advanced shop math skills.
- Proficiency in using precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
- Experience with basic hand tools.
- Ability to design and select specialty cutting tools and fixtures.
- Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, SolidCam, and Microsoft Office.
