CNC Production Supervisor
Summary of Position
The CNC Production Supervisor is responsible for leading production employees during an assigned shift. The CNC Production Supervisor will perform similar work as assigned subordinates with additional responsibility of supervising the performance of all production employees.

Responsibilities and Duties
As a minimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities
expected of the CNC Production Supervisor. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject

- Supervise team to meet company expectations of safety rules and regulations, quality standards, customer satisfaction, productivity, and on-time delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of saw production, material handling, and shipping/receiving.
- Records, safety, production, attendance, performance appraisals, and disciplinary performance and report to Operations Manager.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product to increase overall efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve work problems and assist production employees in resolving issues.
- Change work roles of members of the team, such as reassigning tasks, as necessary.
- Coordinate schedules, assign responsibilities, and make sure that everything runs smoothly during the assigned shift.
- Control expenditures of departmental consumables including all packaging supplies.
- Report notable events or problems to the proper level of management.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to meet organizational goals.
- Maintain and train team members on latest revisions to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure orders are processed per specification and on time without exception.
- Operate production equipment as required.
- Adhere to all Sunshine Metals’ policies and procedures and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of related experience working with saws or machinery
- One or more years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
- Ability to read and calculate numbers and data
- Ability to measure using different tools
- Operate with high integrity and ensure same standards from subordinates
- Strong work ethic; initiative-taking
- One or more years in the metals service center industry
