CNC Machinist

The ideal candidate will set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machines to produce custom components according to exact specifications. You’ll join a team that values craftsmanship and precision, where your skills will be recognized and developed.

  • A stable work schedule with two available shifts to suit your lifestyle: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Focus:

  • Configure and run CNC milling and turning equipment, along with manual machines such as vertical mills, engine lathes, band saws, hydraulic presses, and sheet metal brakes.
  • Interpret and work from technical blueprints and drawings to produce custom components.
  • Ensure high standards of precision using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
  • Adjust feed speeds, tooling, and cutting paths based on material and product specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment in alignment with internal safety protocols.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining equipment to reduce downtime.
  • Contribute to a positive shop culture by supporting continuous improvement and collaboration.

Skill Set:

  • 1–3+ years of experience in CNC machining or completion of a machinist training program.
  • Experience with mold work or small-part machining is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
  • Familiarity with basic CAD/CAM systems a plus (training available on in-house platforms).
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active during shift (standing, bending, lifting).
  • A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
