Description:

  • Operating CNC machining center.
  • Check, and monitor the parts that are being run
  • Capability to read the basic dimensions, tolerances, or other requirements of drawings.
  • Ensure quality standards are being met.
  • Responsible to produce the proper number of parts per machine cycle time
  • Create machine programs from customer supplied part models and specifications.
  • Keep the program schedule and notify any delay or error to upper management.
  • Generate machine set-up sheets and incorporate them into shop planning.
  • Investigate and analyze programming issues or fix programs to recover the production schedule.
  • Keep the work area neat, clean, and organized.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement.

Requirement:

  • 1 to 5 years’ experience as a CNC machinist.
  • Understand drawings and measurement instruments as well as CAD / 3D Data
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing between ten (10) and sixty (60) pounds.

  • Good eyesight for examining small parts and adjusting focus.
