CNC Mill Machinist – 2nd Shift

Schedule: Evening shift, weekdays

Russ Hadick & Associates is partnering with an aerospace manufacturing organization to hire a CNC Mill Machinist for a precision machining environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on machinist with milling experience who enjoys working on complex parts in a job shop setting where quality and problem solving matter.


Position Overview

This position focuses on CNC milling operations supporting aerospace production. You’ll work with engineered components requiring tight tolerances and attention to detail in a modern manufacturing environment.

The machinist will support milling processes from setup through completion, working closely with production, quality, and engineering teams. Candidates should be comfortable reading technical drawings, making machine adjustments, and performing in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.

This is not production-only work. Parts vary, setups change, and operators are expected to understand the machining process.


Preferred Background

  • CNC milling experience (3-axis required, 4/5-axis a plus)

  • Experience setting up jobs and adjusting offsets

  • Comfortable working from blueprints and technical documentation

  • Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)

  • Manufacturing or machine shop background (aerospace strongly preferred)

  • Basic shop math and mechanical aptitude

  • Familiarity with CNC controls or G/M codes is helpful but not required

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Trade school or equivalent hands-on machining experience accepted.
